As
Easter moves around the Church calendar the annual PA 15 egg
donation for Nene Valley Christian Family Refuge and the Hope
Centre moves with it, and thank you again to all who donated eggs. The
Easter Day quiz/hunt in Church after the service has become a
fixture in our calendar, and once again was well supported by
children and their grown up helpers. After
all that pudding and chocolate we look forward to working off some
of the calories with the remaining events planned for the year. May
saw us walking the wilds of Leicestershire, or at least the canal
bank and waysides around Snarestone. The weather was a bit
variable, and we got caught by a couple of downpours, but luckily
we had a good long pub lunch break to dry out in the hot
conservatory, with excellent food and drink to aid the process.

Malcolm's day out is always a highlight of our programme. June
saw what is also becoming an annual fixture, the Car Rally, with a
well designed circular route that took us through some of the
delightful scenery and villages of central Northamptonshire. There
were plenty of clues to look out for one the way, and this time we
were blessed with a sunny late afternoon and evening, finishing in
Wootton, where we enjoyed hospitality from Derek and Maureen.
