Our
last event of the year was a new one, a "walky-talky"
quiz and treasure hunt around Mears Ashby. This is a fascinating
village with many nooks and crannies where clues both visual and
written were to be found. After an hour or so of strolling around,
doubling back and solving cryptic puzzles we returned to Mark
& Erica's cottage, where they hosted a BBQ. Many thanks to
them for both the quiz and BBQ. After
a full summer programme we have had a break during August, the
next event being our AGM and BBQ on September 12th at the home of
Steve and Jenny R. We will review the year gone by and plan out
our programme for the coming year. Watch
out for details in the newsnotes, and remember we are not a club,
our events are open to all, and so if you are new to the Church or
have been at Park Avenue since time immemorial, do come along,
join in our fellowship and try one of our events!
